Art Direction: Admissions

TAKE A DEEP BREATH…AND BEGIN

For the 2016 Admissions campaign for the College, I acted as art director, creative lead, and team manager. From start to finish, this project took just under a year to complete. It remains to this day the largest project I’ve ever worked on in terms of scope, ideation, personnel, collateral, and hours. The project consisted of over sixty print pieces, a redesigned Admissions website, an illustrated/interactive map, a main video and five student videos designed in collaboration with an outside company, four in-house faculty videos, numerous branded email and eblasts, and numerous social media feeds. Additionally, over forty students were hand-picked as volunteers and twenty faculty members were recruited for the project. The team itself consisted of a vice president of Admissions, two web designers, a writer, an editor, a digital media manager, a staff photographer, a social media manager, a marketing/pr associate and myself. This Admissions Campaign won an Award of Excellence from UCDA and Best of Category from SUNYCUAD.

The circle, location symbol, and coordinates were used to brand the campaign and were used throughout all mediums. The image second down at top left is the inside flap to the Viewbook. The quote on this page is the start of the quote heard as a voice-over in the main video for the campaign.
